Hi there!
My name is Katie, I’m a marketing and communications professional based in Simcoe County and Toronto, Ontario.
I am currently the Digital Marketing Coordinator at Tatham Engineering and a freelance marketing and communications consultant in my free time.
I hold a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), where I also triple minored in communication design, politics, and english. In my final year, I spent 12 weeks researching the impacts of journalism in small towns and co-produced a documentary that was shortlisted for a Canadian Association of Journalists award.
In 2023, I completed a certificate program from OCAD University in UX Design & Development.
I'm curious, open-minded, and constantly fascinated by new technologies, trends, and change. At the heart of everything I do, I find I am most driven by community, human connection, and storytelling.
When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy challenging myself by learning new skills and playing volleyball and hockey (poorly). You might also find me on a canoe trip, skiing, or visiting a local restaurant.
